Welcome to Maple Brook Studio:
I opened Maple Brook Studio to the public in 1991. At that time, most of my work was Chinese brush painting, pen & ink drawings, and oil paintings on canvas. Other works include stone sculpture, metal sculpture, colored pencil, and my birch series painted on textured papers. Between 2014 and 2020, my focus was on pyrography (wood-burning).
In 2023, I began this mixed media leaf series: cutting leaves from gourds and gluing them onto wood or bark. Check out the mixed media page.
