Commissions An anniversary gift Adam commissioned for his wife Katie. He provided the old barn wood and requested that I burn in an image of the oldest tree (200-300 years) in CT, Simsbury: the Pinchot Sycamore. Commissioned by the parents of the bride. The sunflower image was important to both the bride and the groom. I’ve not included the wording below: the names. Spirit Bear: burned on an odd piece of spalted something. Completed rifle rack on tiger maple. 6 feet long. – The wood was provided by my customer: See below images for details. Below: closeups of this piece. Happy Customers! Walking stick provided by the customer, a Masonic Past Master. The ‘job’ I was given was to create a pyrography piece with four leaves local to Massachusetts and CT. The wood, a gorgeous piece of Birdseye maple was supplied by the clients, already sanded so all I had to do was decide upon the leaves, the design, and then do the burning details. The clients were very pleased. Having initially commissioned it as a gift, they decided to keep it for themselves. 12.5″ wide x 12″ tall. Like this:Like Loading...
